Spring twenty twelve trends

Let's start by 20th century art. So generally, it goes from art deco, to futurism, spatialism, modern art, neoplasticism and Bauhaus inspirations.

Bottega Veneta

Chanel

Hermès

Rick Owens

Chloé

Alberta Ferretti

Balenciaga
I personally love this style and I'm so glad it is now one of the most powerful trends this season. I've been waiting for this moment for so long, I swear. And the coolest thing about this is that this particular artistic influence on fashion this season takes itself influences from the others principal trends, such as the ethnique style and the 20's, obviously.

explorer woman

Burberry

Alberta Ferretti

Balmain

D&G

Etro

Soooo much better than the ethnique style of the past years. Newer, fresher, cheerful. And if I could I would marry D&G's collection.

20's

Elie Saab

Chanel

Christian Dior

Gucci, the ultimate 20s-like collection.

flower field (luckily no picnic cloth prints like last summer)

Louis Vuitton

Valentino

Prada

Balmain

flowers in spring, nothing new about this right? Except for 3d flowers: the real innovation this year.

Dolce & Gabbana

Now I ask myself: what the hell is wrong with you people? Why are we supposed to wear horrible prints such as these? Damn keep them for yourself. One of the good things of not being anymore in the 60's/70's is that we're past the Horrible Prints Era! We've done so much to get rid of it, and now you know that all human's efforts were wasted.

can't remember. Probably Diane Von Furstenberg, not sure.

Christopher Kane, I love you, but please...

Blumarine, may this collection burn in hell

Marni I guess. A bit better but still inappropriate

Hey there, I'm skating on moon's craters wearing a Givenchy t-shirt and Louis Vuitton shorts and shoes on a Céline deck.
That's all.

Snow

A couple of fridays ago, on the Earth, I woke up, opened the window and saw the trees, the cars and everything covered by white and soft snow. You say, oh well, nothing special about this. Oh yes it is, dammit! I live in southern Italy and it never snows here, or if it does, snow would never lay down. Instead, last week, we had three-four days of snow and school's been closed for 7 days! So I felt like being in Milan, like two years ago, when I was walking round the streets, under the snow, feeling invincible with my beloved white jacket, my fur bag and my favourite hat. Me and my friend didn't eshitate to go to the park and take pictures with my analogic camera! I still can't believe it happened!
Don't you love snow too? I think without it, winter makes absolutely no sense. It's like summer without sea. Plus it sort of looks like the Moon. Reminds me home!

*taking pictures without my jacket on: feel like a fucking fashion blogger*

you know that common feeling, when runways change your point of viewing art. Yeah, y'know.

Sarah, don't screw things up, please.
