Excuse me?

I've been waiting a whole week, then I finally saw his name on Style.com: Kanye West. I started to jump on the chair, then recomposed myself and watched the show. Even though the first collection received many critics (Anna Wintour, when asked what she thought about it, harshly replied "ask someone else" FUCK YOU) I liked it, because I appreciated Kanye's will to mix his hip hop culture with what he learnt and heired from high fashion. And this mixture is more evident in the last collection, and also more well blended: the shapes look finer, even though they're still the same soft and linear. I'd just delete from the whole collection only the transparent dresses with the velvet patterns and the brown boots, which don't really look good with black. For the rest I can just say good job! :) I especially love the first total black looks, the bags/backpacks (another obvious reference to his hip hop origins and habit of buying huge Louis Vuitton backpacks) and the croco details!
And you? What do you think?

sexy.

aaand... would you ever expect that these heels cost SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS?!
I don't understand. They might even not be real pearl. But if they were, they aren't worth the price. Not even the Zanotti collaboration. And so why? I don't understand, really.
Whatever, if I was hella rich I would've already bought them haha.

Good job, Oliver

I was very unhappy about Christopher Decarnin leaving Balmain, and I didn't really like this spring's collection: where were the studs, that Balmainish punk allure?! But now I really think that Oliver showed us what he got: this a/w collection is just perfect, it completely reflects my style and my esthetics. To me, it looks like he took inspirations from the Middle Age (well, that's pretty obvious), but especially churches... their frescos, paintings, architecture, frames and everything. They're just pieces of art!

what do you think?
